Will I have to wait for updates?
Yes and no. Validated members may upload content to the database directly, bypassing admin approval. However, trial members must have their content approved by the staff before the content is public.

What's this trial and unvalidated member business about?
In hopes of keeping a mature, stable community, ZCRealm has a trial system. When you register, you become a trial member, and you stay a trial member until you make 15 posts. When that post count is exceeded, you become an unvalidated member. You must either be accepted by an administrator or have an invitation by a current validated member.

I want to help out! Can I become a mod or admin?
Don't ask! If we feel you would be a good mod or admin, we'll come to you! Begging or crying to become a member of the staff will just lower your chances.

Can we have discussions via screenshot, demo, etc. comments?
Yes. The comment system was created so that both the author of the submission and previous commenters can post comments. Feel free to make as many suggestions and comments as you want! Just be sure not to spam!

Can I use BBtags in my descriptions?
Yes, but not all. Accepted BBtags are [b][/b], [i][/i], [u][/u], [url=link][/url], [list=A][/list], [list][/list], [*], [font=fonttype][/font], [color=colorname][/color], [size=fontsize][/size], and [align=center][/center].

I always get irritated by members who get a 5 rating by 1 member, but I have a 4.875 by 8, but they\'re above me in the rating order.
That's just how it goes, unfortunately. There is a way around this, however. In the search pages, you can search for quests with a certain number of votes. If you, for example, search for quests with a rating greater than 4 but with at least 5 votes, you'll get the better quests. For the rating order, it's done by a basic average. Sorry about that.

Sweet, now I can post all of my stuff! I can't wait to post all my screenshots and 15 quest demos!
Settle down there, boy. You didn't even ask a question, but besides that, obviously we won't allow people to spam the database. Therefore, we did put limitations on uploads. For example, you may only post 2 demos on the database at a time and 10 screenshots. There are also limitations on how many you can post in one day, as well. Go to the upload page for more information on the upload limits.

I noticed that we can edit our own content! Does that mean that I can edit them as much as I want?!
Haha. No. You're only allowed 1 major edit per quest and demo and 3 major edits per script. Major edits include uploading new files as well as code for scripts. Typo fixes for descriptions do not count as major edits!

Will I have to pay for this site?
No. Nothing here costs money. However, if you want to drop unmarked bags of money on Nick's or LinktheMaster's doorsteps, feel free to do so! However, currently the site is being paid out of LinktheMaster's pockets. Ads may be placed on the site in the future.

I found a bug. Who should I report it to?
It depends. If it's a typo on a submission, you can contact either LinktheMaster or Nick. If it is a problem with forum permissions, either one may be contacted. However, if it is a skin or problem with the database, it would be best to contact LinktheMaster.
