The Amazing Maze

The Amazing Maze is a partially complete mini-game for Zelda Classic, with the entirety of the game completely controlled by ZScript. All of the code and 10 levels are complete, but I thought I'd realease it as more of a sandbox for people to look at the code for and have a play with, feel free to make your own levels and post the game up here. Maybe we could have a 'Best Amazing Maze' contest if people like it? There's a text file included which explains how to make new levels, checkpoints and moving parts.

Anyway, it's just a little 'move the mouse around inside the maze without hitting the walls and get to the end of the level' game. You've probably seen a few of them in flash before.

It started out when Radien (who's probably wondering why the game is inspired by him) suggested that we had a '2 tile quest contest' for April Fool's, and I thought to myself 'I reckon I could actually do that'. As it turned out, I managed to make it with two tiles and a sprite tile (the walls, the floor and the mouse cursor), but Migokalle drew me some nicer graphics which it's now using. Obviously it'd be quite easy to make your own set of new graphics and replace those in the game if you so desired.

You could also use it as a mini-game inside of a quest if you saw fit, it wouldn't be hard to change the code around a little to allow for that.
