Description
What it does:
Simply allows warp return points to make it look like Link fell in from the ceiling. So far this is only made to look proper with Insta-warp and Insta-warp with Blackout, so you could say it will work best with a GB-styled quest. There is still a method to make it look right with a fade-in or otherwise which is gone over in the bottom section. Setting it up: -Set the "63" in the top line to the ID number of your desired "Link falling" sound effect. -Place a FFC in the exact same spot as a warp return point. Do not overlap this with a continue point. Instead, offset the continue point or warp return so Link isn't dropped from the ceiling every time you continue there. -Set the FFC to a walkable + transparent combo other than 0 and assign this script to it. Using with a fade-in/etc.: -Make a copy of the screen you want Link to drop into. -Set the warp into the drop-in screen to go to this "fake" screen instead, using any type of transition you want. -Have the "Invisible Link" screen flag enabled and set the timed warp ticks to 0.01 seconds. -Set Side Warp A to Insta-warp you to the "real" destination. -If you would ever have enemies should be visible during fade-in (not actually sure if this is possible, but), you can duplicate them onto the fake screen and have them carry over to the real one with the Enemies Carryover in Warps flag. This will prevent Link from appearing at the bottom of his drop before he actually drops down into the room. And yes, the player will have control over Link in midair.
